1. About these terms

These terms are between , ("we", "us"), and the business that signs up to ("you", "your company").

The app is only for businesses. Consumer protection law for people buying as individuals does not apply to these terms. Whoever signs up confirms they are allowed to agree to these terms for the business.

Questions: .

2. Your account

3. Free trial

New companies get a free trial for the number of days shown when signing up. You can use the app in full during the trial, but price lists still have to be added for your company. You do not have to pay anything for the trial, and it does not turn into a paid plan unless you choose to pay.

4. Paying

5. Prices and quotes

The app works out prices from the supplier price lists, discounts and markups you give it. Price lists change, and mistakes can happen when lists are added. So:

7. Using the app properly

You must not:

We can suspend an account that breaks these rules. If we can, we will tell you first.

8. Your data

Your quotes, jobs, customer details and photos belong to your company. You give us permission to store and use them only to run the app for you. How we do that is set out in the privacy policy and the data processing terms below.

You are responsible for telling your customers how you use their details, for example in your own privacy notice. You must also have a lawful reason to record them. Taking measurements, quoting and fitting for a customer who asked for it is normally covered.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the app running, and much of it works with no signal. We cannot promise it will never go down, for example during updates or if Google's services have a problem. We will try to give notice of planned downtime.

We improve the app regularly. If we remove something important you rely on, we will tell you in advance. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will give at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

12. Data processing terms

This section is the contract the UK GDPR (Article 28) requires between a controller (your company) and a processor (us). It covers the personal data about your customers and your staff that you put into the app.

12.1 What we process

ItemDetails
PurposeProviding the app: quoting, measuring, sending quotes for acceptance, booking and recording fittings, and storing this for you.
PeopleYour customers, and your staff who use the app.
Types of dataNames, addresses, phone numbers, emails, window measurements, notes, photos, signatures, staff dates of birth and roles. You should not put special category data (for example health information) into the app.
How longFor as long as your company uses the app, then deleted within 30 days.

12.2 What we promise

  1. We only process the data on your documented instructions, which are these terms and how you use the app. If we are ever required by law to do something else, we will tell you, unless the law forbids it.
  2. Anyone working for us who can access the data is bound by confidentiality.
  3. We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including those listed in section 8 of the privacy policy.
  4. You agree that we may use the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy. We will tell you at least 30 days before adding or changing one, and you can object. We hold each sub-processor to data protection terms at least as strong as these.
  5. We will help you, as far as we reasonably can, to respond to people using their data rights. Most requests can be handled with the app's own export and delete tools.
  6. We will help you meet your security, breach and impact assessment duties, as far as the information we hold allows.
  7. If we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will tell you without undue delay and give you the information you need to report it.
  8. When your account ends, we delete the data, unless you ask for a copy first or the law requires us to keep it.
  9. We will give you the information you need to show that these duties are being met, and allow reasonable audits, with reasonable notice.
  10. Your data is stored in the UK. If any of it is transferred outside the UK by our sub-processors, it is protected by safeguards the law approves, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

12.3 What you promise

You have a lawful basis for the data you put into the app, and you have told the people concerned what you do with it.
