1. Who we are

is a quoting and job app for blind and curtain companies. It is run by , ("we", "us").

For anything about your data, email . We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number .

2. Our role and yours

UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) gives two different roles:

3. What we collect

AboutWhat
Company owners and adminsName, email, date of birth, home address, company name, email, phone and address, logo, number of users, and the date you agreed to our terms.
Users (surveyors and fitters)Name, email, date of birth, role, which price lists they can use, and which devices they sign in on.
Your customersWhatever your team types in: name, address, phone, email, window sizes, notes, photos of windows and fitted blinds, problem reports, and the name and signature given when a quote is accepted.
Fitters' and surveyors' locationOnly if they agree in the app: where they are (from their phone's location), from when they tap On my way until they tap Done, and only while the app is open. It is used to show the office how jobs are going and to give the customer an arrival time. We keep only the latest position, not a history of where they have been.
Your workQuotes, prices, discounts, markups, price books, fitting bookings and price list PDFs you upload.
PaymentsWhen payments are switched on, Stripe handles your card. We never see or store card numbers. We only get a record of what was paid and when.
TechnicalSign-in tokens and a device ID kept on your device, so we can keep you signed in and limit how many devices each user has.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

4. Why we use it (our lawful basis)

5. Where it is stored

Your company's data (quotes, jobs, photos, customer details and settings) is stored in Google Cloud's London data centre (europe-west2).

Some services work across Google's global network, for example sign-in (Firebase Authentication) and delivering the app's pages. These may handle your email address and sign-in details outside the UK. Where they do, Google protects them under its data processing terms, which include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Some data is also kept on your own phone or computer so the app works with no signal. Signing out removes it from that device.

6. Who we share it with

We only share data with the companies that help us run the app (our sub-processors):

WhoWhat forWhere
Google Cloud / FirebaseDatabase, sign-in, hosting and service emailsLondon (data); global (sign-in and hosting)
StripeTaking subscription payments, when switched onUK, EU and US
Google MapsShowing a fitter's position on a map to the office, and to the customer while the fitter is on the wayGlobal
postcodes.ioTurning a job's postcode into a map position, to work out the arrival time, and suggesting postcodes as you type. Only the postcode is sent.UK
Photon (komoot, OpenStreetMap)Suggesting addresses as you type a customer's address. Only what is typed in the address box is sent, never names or phone numbers.EU (Germany)
Google CalendarOnly if you choose to connect your calendarGlobal

When you send a quote to a customer, they can see the quote, your company details and the details on it through a private link. If you share by WhatsApp, text or email, that app's own privacy terms apply to the message.

We will only give data to anyone else if the law requires it. We never sell data.

7. How long we keep it

8. How we protect it

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

Company owners and admins can download all of the company's data, or ask for it all to be deleted, from Settings → Your data and privacy. For anything else, email . We reply within one month, and there is no charge.

10. Cookies and storage on your device

We do not use cookies for tracking or adverts. The app keeps a few things on your device that it needs to work: your sign-in, your company's settings and quotes (so it works with no signal), your price lists, and small preferences such as light or dark mode. These are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so the law does not need us to ask first. Signing out clears them.

11. If you are a customer of a company that uses this app

The blind or curtain company that measured, quoted or fitted for you is responsible for your details. We run the app for them and only use your details to provide it.

Your details are used to prepare your quote, book and carry out the fitting, record photos of the work, book your measuring appointment, send you your surveyor's or fitter's arrival time and a live tracking link on the day (it shows only the fitter's first name and where they are, until they arrive, and stops working at the end of the day), and keep a record that you accepted the quote. Your quote link stops working after 6 months.

To see, correct or delete your details, contact the company directly. Their details are on your quote. If you cannot reach them, email and we will pass your request on.

12. Changes and complaints

If we make an important change to this policy, we will tell company owners in the app or by email before it takes effect.

If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, please tell us first at . You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
